There is that old adage that you save the best to the last. Not always a true saying, but in this case quite close. The last of the monthly Aeroclub Talks, of the Winter Season at the Clubhouse, is one that promises to be full of drama and intense interest. Our club member Tom Hennessy-Jones, who is a Critical Care Paramedic with the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust, is giving a talk on this magnificent emergency service, which just like the RNLI, receives no funding from Central Government, and relies almost solely on voluntary donations from folk like you and I. On a historical note, Cornwall led the way in the UK for Helicopter Emergency Medical Services, with the first Air Ambulance operation in the UK, and the reason why the Cornwall Air Ambulance has the prestigious callsign of ‘HELIMED 01’,

As always, if you would like to come along and enjoy the talk, please let Pete White know directly on his contact details, or call the Duty Manager on 01208 821419 on any day of the week, betwwen 0900 and 1700, to book your place, If you would like dinner beforehand, it also needs you to make a booking, again by either calling Pete White, or the Duty Manager, to book your meal. We look forward to seeing you there, for the last time before Autumn. Stay safe.
